Texas Toast on the Grill

After a long, cold winter and a very soggy spring to date it was finally warm out this weekend! That meant it was time to fire up the grill...also known as my husband's turn to cook. :)

So what was my contribution?  A tasty little thing called Texas Toast.

Ingredients:

One loaf of Italian Bread
Butter
Garlic Salt
Paprika

Slice the Italian bread making sure the slices are at least 1" thick.  Apply butter liberally to each piece, then sprinkle with the garlic salt and paprika.  Hand to the person running the grill, sit back, and relax!

The grill master should cook them until browned on one side, then flip and toast the other side for a few minutes just to crisp up the edges.  Don't wander too far away from the grill since they don't take long!
